Don't take this the wrong way, but the BC would kinda fit in here as y'all are better than the stuff I'm hearing... plus you got that Rust Belt anti-sheen authenticity... I guess you could call it that.

At any rate, the BC is a different vibe from the indy rock norm that's saturating this town right now.

I have a few leads on getting the BC's song's into a few indy films, but I'm still hunting for info on getting a slot somewhere around here in '09.

If, for nothing else, you guys should do this 'fest as it'll show you how other bands do their thing.

Which new songs are you talking about for lyrics? The songs that are going to be on the EP are Grand Illusion, Crush, Han Solo, Ooo La La, Eugene, She Makes It Easy, and a yet to be decided upon acoustic song by The Mighty Afrodytee.

Perhaps we should put up a lyrics page somewhere on the site. This isn't the first time I've gotten this request

In other news, my favorite band ever, The Presidents of the USA, have a new album, entitled "The Are The Good Times, People", coming out tomorrow. The video for their first single, "Mixed Up SOB", was directed by "Weird Al", my all time favorite. What a great combo! Check out the video for yourself right now!

I'm listening to the upcoming EP pre-mastering. It's a lot of fun. Fananas are gonna love it.

Awwww thanks Thumbs. That warmed the cockles of my heart. I don't hate the greats but I doesn't mean I have to like what they do. Its like Classic Books. What really makes them a classic? Was it Oprah when James Frey f'd her over and said all writers suck and these here Classics are what is good? I just wrote most cure drench bass line today that it could even bring a tear to fletch's eye! So that means we are going to make it a song maybe and instrumental? I can totally hear Ray tearing it up on this. It is a slow chorused filled bass line much like what you would here on Kiss me Kiss me Kiss me,disintegration, and Head on the Door. So Fananas! if you love the Cure and you think thats what I get all my bass stuff from well this one you can tell for sure i did!

I must admit nastolga is not always a bad thing. I still throw in some old records and remember my early teens of being awkward and gangly. Ever time I listen to David Bowies Diamond Dogs it takes me back to when I wanted to feel like a hero and be the cool kid. Then I realized I read comics and have real records so that was out the window...not much has changed sadly.

That's very important.

Once you start to hear the colors of pitch it all becomes a lot easier.

Nobody's good when they start. I'm not good and I've been randomly trying to learn for 15 years now.

But do this: Learn how to play an A chord, a D chord, and an E chord. If you can do that you can play "Telephone Song."

Once you can play that, then learn G and C, and you'll pretty much be able to play about half the songs we do.
